What’s new
Lowtide updates itself. Here’s what each release brought.
Threads with more than one person in them
- Someone else writing you directly in an email thread no longer takes the first person's card: each keeps their own.
- A reply in Gmail closes only the cards of the people it went to.
Older History entries open to their cards
- Things you closed before History kept a copy of each card now open to it, and can come back to your list.
Reminders tied to people and moments
- Type “when Maya replies, ask about pricing” in Ask: it comes back the moment Maya writes, beside her email.
- Or “next time I see Dev, bring up the offsite”: it comes up shortly before your next meeting with Dev.
Promises to yourself, and a History that brings cards back
- Type “renew passport by Friday” in Ask: it's on your list, planned into a free stretch, and closes itself once an email shows it's done.
- History keeps every card that leaves your list, and any of them can come back.
- Anything Lowtide closes on its own, because you replied in Gmail, they replied or a promise was kept, is in History with the reason.
Claude Code's questions, answered from your list
- Questions from Claude Code, including from Claude's desktop app and VS Code, show with their options and descriptions, and you can pick several or write your own.
- When a new version is ready, a card above your list says so, instead of a window behind your other apps.
The open card stands out again
- In the window, the open card lifts in the list again beside its side panel.
A side panel for the open card
- In the window, the open card has a side panel of its own, cards have more room, and every card says where it came from.
A recap after every meeting
- After a meeting, a recap to everyone who was there, with who's doing what, ready to send.
Time held on your calendar
- Hold time on your calendar for any card, shown first and added only when you say so, with Undo.
Draft options and starred email
- One-tap rewrites under a draft: shorter, say no, not now.
- A starred email is always a card.
- Claude Code can read your list: “what do I owe Priya?”
What fits today
- The morning plan says what fits in each free stretch, wind-down says what closed today, and people who ask again come first.
