Is there an AI that drafts your replies in both email and Slack?
Updated
Short answer: Most tools draft for one channel. Gemini in Gmail, Fyxer and Superhuman draft email replies, and Slack’s own AI writes in Slack on its Business+ and Enterprise+ plans. Lowtide is a Mac app that drafts both: it reads Gmail and Slack, keeps the messages that need your reply in one list, and has a draft in your voice ready on each, sent only when you press Send.
If people reach you by email and by Slack, a drafting tool in only one of them leaves half your replies to you, and it still doesn’t tell you which messages need a reply. The useful question is really two: which messages need an answer, wherever they arrived, and is a good draft waiting on each.

What to look for
- It finds the messages that need you, so you aren’t asking for drafts one at a time.
- The draft sounds like you, learned from what you’ve sent, not a generic assistant voice.
- It never sends on its own: you read, change and send.
- It doesn’t agree to a price, date or approval for you; a good draft leaves that choice to you.
- It knows where the reply goes: a Slack reply in the right thread, an email from the address it was written to.
Doing it with what you have
If you already pay for Google’s or Slack’s AI, use each where it lives: suggested replies in Gmail, and Slack’s AI on Business+. What you lose is one place to see what needs an answer, so set aside two short passes a day through both, starting with whoever has waited longest.
